Radiation Safety Committee
Exercises responsibility for all aspects of ionizing radiation control and protection within the University and all affiliated research, service, and instructional units utilizing facilities and/or radiation sources owned or controlled by the University; evaluates and authorizes or denies each use and user of radioactive materials or other ionizing rdiation sources; advises the Radiation Safety Officer and audits the performance of the Radiological Health Department.
Reports to the Vice President for Research.
