Information on the basics of ergonomic risk factors including: repetition, force, extreme postures, static postures, contact pressure, and vibration.

Things to Consider


Ergonomics is the scientific field concerned with fitting an individual’s workspace to the individual, in order to reduce the potential for injury.

Modification of the workspace to fit the worker will be unique to each individual.  What works for one may not work for another but the basic principles are the same for everyone.  These basic principles can be found in this guide: Basic Principles of Ergonomics
