Hepatitis B Virus Vaccination

Employees with occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) are required complete bloodborne pathogens (BBP) training.

Things to Consider

After training completion, employees will be enrolled in this program and are required to submit an electronic hepatitis B virus vaccination attestation/declination form. The form submission process allows employees the option to select to receive the hepatitis B vaccination at no cost to them. Vaccination administration or testing is completed at the RedMed clinic.

  • Contact your supervisor or EHS – questions@ehs.utah.edu if you need assistance enrolling in BBP training.
  • Contact your supervisor or the Occupational Health team health@hsc.utah.edu if you need assistance scheduling the HepB vaccination.
